On a large wall in this room used for meetings and photo shoots, we created a combined kitchen, office and storage space in Farrow & Ball’s blue gray No. 91 lacquer and antique walnut veneer. On the right, the fully equipped kitchenette fits effortlessly into the room. The clean aesthetics are highlighted by four walnut niches and beautiful brass handles at the bottom. To the left, large cupboards run across the ceiling, creating the ideal space for storing bulky photography equipment. The doors with handholds are fitted with key locks to secure the equipment. The eye is drawn to a walnut claustra in the centre of the wall. An elegant floating desk with drawers breaks up the verticality of these various spaces, and two small alcoves are found in the extension.
